RIVINGTON. The Terraced Gardens, looking down onto the Blue Pool bridge at the base of the Cascade. The gardens on the outskirts of the Lancashire town of Bolton, were created by local businessman Lord Leverhulme out of a stretch of moorland overlooking the village of Rivington.
